OUR STORY
Fanangle began with Co-Founder Scotty Huff sitting in a Law class in grad school, when an idea for an app popped into his head. This app was specific to the music industry and would help connect artists with their fans during a concert. That app idea, “fanangle” (merging the word “fan” with “angle”) is what started the journey. Scotty, having only a limited knowledge of software development, reached out to his good friend (and Co-Founder) Mark Miles to help him further this idea. Mark and Scotty had worked together for years touring with Keith Urban; Scotty was in the band and Mark was the Production Manager. While touring with Keith, Mark also worked full-time as a senior developer for a healthcare company in Nashville.
As they began to develop the concert-based product, they realized they would be better served to start with a different app. So, they set to thinking about what that would be. While on vacation in Maine, Scotty and his son Jordan tossed around some ideas of what this new app would look like. That’s where the idea for krumz was born.
With the help of another developer, Isaac Swindle, they set out to make this app a reality. Now, at the prototype phase, they are ready for the next step in the journey. With a nominal investment to expand their development team, krumz will become a reality.
